The Three

Dies ist mein erster Eintrag, in meinem persöhnlichen Blog.
Was wäre also passender, als eine Geschichte mit persöhnlichem Wert zu posten?

Dies war mein Geburtstagsgeschenk für 3 meiner besten Freunde.

 The Three:
The breath of Death himself was poisoning the air. The city was abandoned. Just a small city, not much more than a town, but a dead town…No creature was on the street, that was used by many humans not too long ago, for they were all gone...
They were not gone by choice. Signs of war everywhere, overturned wagons, disrupted doors, dried blood shimmering in the sunset like the fiery blaze of a Dragon. A little mouse, no bigger than a thumb dashed like a shooting star across the empty place inside its hole, that won't protect it anymore.
Darkness fell in, to devour all life, including all which it hadn't taken until then.
No one could stop it, no one could survive.

Three creatures, cloaked by hoods, entered the street. Strangers, aware of the Danger, aware of the sacrifices that had to be made. They were the only ones who could stop it, the only ones who could save the things that were lost.

A petty city it seemed, but it's role in the gambling of Destiny was much bigger,
hidden between the ocean of houses it lay. The Feather of the Phoenix, the Heart of the Dragon. it had many names. An artifact with the power to stop the darkness.
They had lost much to the darkness, and much it was they had to retrieve.

The three had reached the Marketplace. The sun exhaled it's last breath and was swallowed by darkness, They were alone. All lights were gone. A murmur filled the air, the darkness…lived.
A feeling like thousand little hands, cold like the ice of the north, dragging, grabbing them, who now stood back to back. „I would agree with some light. I want to see what I'm slicing" said one of the three, with a female voice. Her paw grasped the handle of a giant Two-handed Sword on her back, and drew it.
„Get the lights, got it!" said one of the other creatures, a male judging by his voice. One quick grab under his coat, and a small item came out of its shelter, no longer than the gloved paw in which it lay. „Like the night banishes the light" the voice said, under the hood, and pressed a button on the object he had just produced. The item transformed into a long staff, with a crystal on its serrated end, and in its inner core a dark blue Liquid flowed. „I will banish …the darkness!" he shouted and drove his staff in the moist ground of the previous marketplace. The crystal of the staff began to glow, like the morning sun on the horizon, getting brighter every second, dipping the place in a shimmering red light, as if the breath of a dragon had ignited everything. The little hands disappeared as the light came to be, allowing the strangers to scan the battlefield. Despite the light's intensity, the place was only lighted in an radius of ten meters. Outside of this Circle there was a wall of shadow, that swallowed the light like a sponge does water.

„Who dares to light my kingdom? Who dares to withstand my powers, my army?", a dreadful voice whispered out of the shadows. A pair of eyes, as red as the blood on the apron of an executioner, and a hand, fragile like the hand of a child, appeared out of the same darkness. Like the voice of its Master, the shadowy figure pierced through the wall, it aims to the crystal, aiming to destroy it, albeit unsuccessfully. „Impressive…who is it that…disturbs my powers? Would you do me the honour of showing me your faces?", the voice inquired kindly and with a small touch of curiosity. The stranger who had summoned the light lifted his hood with his paws, so you could see his head. A wolf showed, with fur, as white as paper, the base for a fictitious world; and as blue as ink, the liquid that give dreams their shape; and red hair, like the fire of inspiration, the combination of which represented the artist's drive. Of course, he couldn't use it without a drivers' license.
„Minas the Inkwolf dares bring light. Now step aside, because we are searching something, and it is somewhat…difficult to find something, when you can't see a goddamn thing" said the Wolf with a grin on his face.
The red eyes didn't react to the wolfs speech "So sorcery won't work on you…what about an army of pure power?" with these words, creatures marched out of the shadows, and they were made out of the shadow from whence they came. There were five of them and they seemed strong, stronger than a normal human. But the strangers, were no humans.
The two others, who hadn't revealed their identity, silent as they were, now abandoned that demeanour. The one with the two-hand-sword jumped out of the circle of their allies and thrust her sword into the body of one of the creatures "Do not mess with us, or you'll see some perfectly sliced shadows" she said, and guided her sword out of the shadow's body, and caused it to circle around, slicing one another shadow in half, and finishing the shadow she had just stabbed.
The remaining being jumped in the air, spreading its wings. "Need steel?" a female voice said, under her hood. Silently, without any visible Motion, she threw two daggers upon the shadows. She drew two swords, short, not much longer than a dagger. "You should try some." One flap with her big white wings sent her flying towards the final minion of the shadow master with an incredible speed. One cut, with both blades, and the head of the shadow minion, rolled off the body, dissipating, like the other minions they had killed, into smoke (on the water).
"Impressive…a shadow won't die through the hands of a normal human being…who are you?" the voice said.
One short glance between the sisters, and the hoods were gone.
One was an orange wolf with brown stripes and a shaggy mane with bright blue eyes. "Aguar is my name"
The other was a winged, grey wolf with yellow patches around her eyes and the mane, likewise, was a tone of yellow. "and I'm Liata"
"So…Minas, Aguar, Liata… you three dare challenge me?" the red eyes glowed in anger. "I know what you are searching for! But to gain your treasure, you have to defeat me!" the shadow said harshly, and he stepped out of his wall. He was big, bigger than his minions, and much stronger.
"You want to be defeated right?" Aguar scoffed, with an grin.
"Yeah well…that's no big deal for us you know?" said Minas, while scratching his head
"Yeah…everyday…killing shadows with real weapons or guards with a broom…we are used to it" Liata said, smiling at the shadow
With that words, Aguar raised her sword behind her head, Liata made the same with her two short swords and Minas spinning his staff until the crystal pointed to the shadow
"Fuck off!" the three shouted. Aguar and Liata, threw their swords upon the shadow, and Minas were shot a beam of eerie blue light. All three attacks hit, and the shadow disappeared, with his wall…all that was left, was the treasure the three were searching for…the three same parts, of the… Tricake.
